I cannot believe that this is the last day of November and there is only three more weeks left of School. Wow!
This has been such a busy term and I love it I really do.
Although, I have been thinking about what next year will bring.
I really want to work on Princess Heart Journey I have a few unfinished projects that I would like to finalise.
I would like to finish-
• Princess Heart Journey- the story about my journey and how I recovered from an illness
• Princess Heart Journey Journal- After talking with people and thinking about my love for journaling I would like to finish my journal.
• Princess Heart CD- I also have written a few songs about issues close to my heart and I would love to record them.
• Princess Heart Journey Eating Disorder Support Group- This has been on my heart for a while and I would love to create an environment that is loving, safe and beautiful where I could help other discover their worth and value.
These are a few of the projects that I have been working on and am aiming to finish in 2015.
To obtain this goal I need to priorities my time and that may mean saying no to something’s.

I was reading a book where the author had written a list of what she wanted to do and had placed next to it the words-to bless whom.

Why do I have the goals for Princess Heart Journey and who am I going to bless?

I love this.
I am excited.
I feel that now I am ready to take the step and to finish the projects.

What is something that you would like to finish?

Will share more soon.

Tonight I spoke at Youth about being a blessing.
I was thinking about the lead up to Christmas and I want to be able to help out others.
I love Christmas and I love the meaning of Christmas.
I love being able to get together with the family and to celebrate.
Christmas for me means hope, Christmas means joy, and Christmas is a new beginning it’s about Jesus.
The true meaning of Christmas.
In November my thought was Random Acts of Kindness and I want to continue that thought into December.
So I thought about how we can be a blessing.
It could be a little thing, it could be buying a present for someone and placing it under a Christmas Tree for someone who may not receive a present.
It could be donating some food to a charity or helping out in the community.
It could also be a kind word to someone.
Random Acts of Kindness don’t need to be expensive at all.
Be a blessing this Christmas time.
Who could you bless this year?
Have a look around you this week and leading up to Christmas.

Embrace this season.

November Challenge

One of the challenges this week was to take a picture through a window.
I am finding it a bit challenging trying to find the photo to take.
I guess at the moment I am second guessing what I should be taking a picture off.
I now that I just need to have a go and take a picture and then share it.

I was at home thinking about the challenge when I realised that I had a large lantern and I have a beautiful candle. I had the idea to place the candle in the lantern and then to take a picture of with the flash on and then with the flash off.

I had the most amazing weekend, it was full and I loved every moment of it.
I find that leading up to Christmas it can be quite busy I have a few things on this week.
I am pacing myself and I need too.
Yesterday my computers battery decided that it had, had enough and it would not let me turn the computer on. So today I phoned a place that had only one battery left that I needed. So after work I drove to the battery place and they had the one battery left and it was the right one.
Praise God.
I was just thinking what an amazing place that I live in Perth.
My work has me driving up to the hills and I am able to see all the beautiful nature and wildlife.
Then I can drive 10minutes and find myself at the foreshore.
So blessed.
I have taken a few photos’ experimenting with the sun, light and the motion of the waves.

November Challenge

One of the photo challenges this week was to take a photo of movement.
I had no idea what I was going to take a photo of. I mainly work in the hills of Perth and I couldn’t think what I could possibly take a photo of. I thought maybe I could take a bird in flight, but no.
Tonight I was so blessed to be able to attend the school disco.
I was talking to someone and sharing about the blogging photo challenge, when I suddenly had an idea to take a photo of the bubble machine and the lights.
I remember back to the assignment which said to turn of the flash on your camera.
I actually tried it with the flash on which didn’t work and then tried it with the flash of.

It was amazing.
I am loving this challenge, it is just helping me to really look around and embrace what is around me.

Hope that you enjoy this.

Will share more tomorrow.

Are you starting to feel overwhelmed are you counting down the weeks/days to Christmas, is your to do list looking more like a novel?
Do you relate to any of these questions, I certainly do? As I write this I can feel the stress rising.
I want to do Christmas well, I want to enjoy the lead up to Christmas Day.
How can I do this though when I have a list of so many things that I need to do before the end of the school term as well?
I have been asking myself this for the last few weeks. I don’t want to be worn out, burnt out, or a big ball of mess on Christmas Day.

My plan for now is to take each day as it comes and to make the most of the day.
I will plan for each day and I will plan well including the time to just relax watch a DVD, read a book or listen to music.
At the moment I am managing this well.
Today I arrived home a bit earlier then the last few days and have decided that tonight I am going to take it easy.

I accomplished so much today and I am really pleased about it.

My life is rather busy at the moment I am working 5 days a week at 4 schools, I am also transitioning into a role which commences next year and also I want to have the time to spend with my family.

I really need to have my planner with me or I would be lost.

Be kind to yourself have those breaks when you need to.
Plan something nice to do after you finish a major task.
Enjoy this time of year, celebrate well.

Be a joy to be around.

Will share more soon.

November Challenge

Today’s challenge was to take a picture with shapes and it was to be in black and white.
As I was reading the email I thought where am I going to find something that is a bit arty and in black and white?

So today at one of my schools we had a helicopter visit the school.
I raced to collect my camera and decided to take a picture of the helicopter blades.

So this is my picture for today.

Will share more soon.

Today’s challenge was to take a picture of colour.
When I was reading the email, I was looking at a box of crayons that where on the table.
I decided how much colour you can get from a box of crayons.
I thought about crayons and what they can do.
I have used these crayons in my work with students, I have also used them for holiday programs. I have also let my nieces use them when they have a sleep over. They are well used and still have more life in them.

Crayons bring joy, they can help you to create, and you can also mix them and discover new colours.
They are endless fun for children and I would have to say adults.

When was the last time you used crayons?
Take a blank piece of paper and some crayons and just start drawing.
What did you create?

Will share more tomorrow.

Connection

Last week one of the photo challenges was to take a picture of connection, it talked about how easy it is for people to connect all over the world. This has been made possible through the internet and social media.

I found this one a bit challenging and decided to leave it until the weekend to focus on what connecting with others looks like for me.
I decided that coffee played a great part in connecting with people.
If you know me I love coffee and I like hot coffee.
Oh and it must be good.
I also love catching up with friends for coffee, you see I have this theory that coffee is the perfect complement to discussing what is happening in our lives.
I now love trying out different coffee places and discovering great coffee.
What happens when I meet with other for coffee?
Problems are discussed, it is time to be real with friends, we share what is going on in our lives without judgement, and solutions are found to what we are going through.
Most of all I love meeting people and being inspired by what they are doing in their lives.
Community is built, we share each other’s journeys and friendships are made stronger.

Join me in a coffee sometime this week.

Will share more soon.
