I am so grateful to being an Aunty. I really am. What a blessing it is.
I have 3 beautiful nieces and one handsome nephew.
This weekend I had my 7-year-old niece stay with me from Friday night to Sunday night.
She is my youngest niece.
We had so many amazing adventures over the weekend we really did.
On Saturday my niece wanted to go to the pools for a swim, we discovered that the pool that we wanted to go to, didn’t open until the 23 of November.
She then she said let’s go to the beach.
Please, please, please Aunty Tracey.
We ended up going to Hillary’s, this is a suburb in Perth.
Hillary’s has such a lovely safe beach, especially for children and their Aunty’s.
At this beach you are able to see the bottom of the water, it is safe and such a children’s friendly beach.
We had such a lovely time there.
We stayed for over an hour.
We had swimming races, we saw small fish in the water, there were people on stand-up boards.
We did side stroke.
We ate watermelon.
We laughed.
We created memories.
Sunday my niece decided that she would make something out of watermelon and chocolate.
She was so focussed on creating, she had the watermelon, chocolate and sugar. Yes, more sugar.
She then decided that she would add an egg.
Um, no.
What she had creating was lovely and yes it was so sweet.
We also watched DVD’s, had ice cream, did craft, weeded the front garden, we also watched Bluey (a cartoon in Australia) and had fun.
I am so grateful for having the time to spend with my niece.
I love these memories.
I hope that she remembers these days.
I will always remember the time I am able to spend with her.
