Life and the Single Christian Girl…………..

I seriously do not know what happens to my Mondays.

I had a bit of a sleep in today although my alarm did go of at the regular time that I usually get up for work.

So that was turned off quickly.

Today I have spent my usual running around, crossing of my things to do on my list. My loooong list.

It is a sense of achieving something today.

I had to go to Bunnings today, I am not really a Bunnings girl. So I really didn’t know where to find anything.

You know where you do that looking up at the signs, you hope that anything will just jump out and lead you to what you need to find?

Well it didn’t happen and I needed to find someone to help me find what I needed.

I suppose you are wondering what I was doing in Bunnings, was I renovating, was I looking for plants, was I birthday shopping, or was I restoring some furniture?

Well, none of the above. I am speaking tomorrow at a women group and I wanted some beautiful pebbles that I could write something on.

I found the pebbles finally, oh my goodness they had such a great range and then I had the difficult decision of trying to find the right ones that I needed.

I eventually found these beautiful white shiny stones.

I am going to be using them as a prayer reminder for tomorrow’s talk.

I think that I will need to go back to Bunnings to buy some more they are what I have been looking for. Also the price was very good.

I did notice a lot of Men go to Bunnings, no I won’t be hanging out there trying to find a husband.

Okay let get back onto the subject, ha ha.

So I have also achieved another task, I have set up a powerpoint display and wait for it have added the music onto the display. I am amazed.

I am hoping that it will work when I need it too.  I always find some tech difficulty when you are trying something new, but that is okay. It’s all good.

Productive Mondays.

Will share more tomorrow.

Life and the Single Christian Girl Continues……….

Today I find myself at home just taking some time out to relax.

I borrowed some DVD’S from my sister in law about romance and blogging of course.  I will be watching Ever After, 27 Dresses and Julie and Julia.

I am finding that when I start writing about a theme or something that interests me I am noticing more things around me, my world is growing bigger.

There were days where I couldn’t stand to be at home on my own. I didn’t know what to do with myself.

Now I love having time for myself, I love being able to have the time for #spacetocreate.

Today I have been thinking quite a lot about the Proverbs 31 Woman.

I am declaring over my live that I am a Proverbs 31 Woman in progress I love this.

I also love the verse that says-

“When She Speaks She Has Something Worthwhile to Say and She Always Says it Kindly”

I love this when I speak I do want it to be worthwhile and to speak kindly.

I also want to encourage you if you find yourself in the season of being a single girl, to go out and explore life.

While you are waiting to meet that amazing man you have been praying about find out about yourself.

What is it they you like?

What type of music do you like?

Have you been out to a coffee shop on your own?

Maybe you could enrol in the local TAFE and learn a new skill?

Be adventures and explore.

I would love to hear how you are going.

Be Inspired.

Creating Memories

The Life of the Single Christian Girl continues……………..

Today I had such a lovely time.

This morning I had a friend come over and it was so great to see her. I loved chatting with her and catching up with her journey.

Then I had the pleasure of taking my two nieces to IKEA and what an adventure we had.

Usually when I am driving anywhere it is just me and I listen to worship music and sing along.

Today was different with my nieces in the back seat. There was lots of laughing, singing songs from Frozen and High School Musical. There was also a game of I spy and just lots of happy noise.

I love to listen to them and hear how they are going at school.

When we go to IKEA we always have something to eat first and I must say I love the IKEA restaurant. They each had their own tray and finally decided on what they would have for afternoon tea.

After having food for our IKEA adventure we then went shopping.

We all had our IKEA wish list, a pencil and a tape measure. Then the fun begins.

We tried out tables, chairs, we looked in cupboards, we sat down at dining tables and we enjoyed ourselves.

I love going out with my nieces they make me laugh and bring me such joy. They have great imaginations, which I love.

We finally brought some things and I also brought them something which they picked themselves.

We were probably there for about 2 and a bit hours.

On the way home well what can I say?

I gave them my camera and they decided to make videos and interview each other.

One of my nieces loves cupcake wars which is a program on Foxtel. Oh my goodness I have just watched the video she took and she is speaking with an American accent. I couldn’t stop laughing she sounded exactly like someone on the show.

I love taking the girls out as this is creating memories.

They make my heart sing.

More adventures tomorrow.
