Thursday Thinking

lovely100

I love this picture, I love how this child is just focusing on what she is doing. Focusing on just today.

This week on Tuesday I felt overwhelmed, I felt a sense of heaviness and anxiousness. Why was I feeling like this and what was making me feel like this?

I was becoming consumed with my to do list and what I needed to fit in before the end of the school term.

I had paperwork that needed to be in, craft afternoons to organise and just the general day to day organisation.

I also had a meeting to go to on Tuesday as well.

Wednesday I felt better, I felt that my to do list was do able. I also was able to tick items of my list. I love that feeling. I realised that I still had time for some quite breaks . I just needed to stop take a breath and breathe. Yes breathe!

I had to remind myself that I just needed to focus on one day at a time. Just like the beautiful child in the picture focus on what I can do now.

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed, when your to do list make you feel anxious?

Breath!

Happy New Year 2013

Happy New Year 2013

Welcome 2013 I am so excited to begin the new journey and to see what happens this year.

I have decided that I am going to blog everyday in January. I won’t have a particular theme, I just want to be open to see where the days will take me. I have my projects that I want to work on and that will be my inspiration and motivation.

I am on holidays until the 30th January so I can really concentrate on being creative.

Boxing

Boxing

I decided that this year I would take up boxing. I first started with one on one lesson and then eventually had the courage to do a boxing class.

I love the challenge of how long can I skip, how many push ups can I do, punching the bags and being able to move them.
What has boxing taught me, well it has made me feel a lot stronger and that I will try any exercise during the class and know that I will be able to do it.
I love boxing in the ring that is the best part of the class for me.
They have one rule at the boxing place that I go to and that is if you put your hands on your hips it’s 10 push up.

I am committed from January to go to two classes per week. I love seeing how far that I have come since I first started.

I am committed to making a difference in my health.

Also was able to buy my pink boxing gloves love them.
