Thinking about the word Peace and how I can have more peace in my life this year.
What will you do to embrace more peace in your life?

Thinking about the word Peace and how I can have more peace in my life this year.
What will you do to embrace more peace in your life?

Daily Reading- Romans 8:28
Daily Devotional-
Read Romans 8:28 out loud- And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God to those who are called according to His purpose.
In the verse, we see that -All things work out according to His purpose.
Be encouraged.
This is a scripture to hold onto when you are going through those difficult times. Difficult times do happen and it is the way that we respond to them that makes the difference on how we get through them.
Write the scripture out and place it somewhere that you will see it every day. This is a reminder of His promise.
Whatever happens in our life we know that he is with us.
We know that God will bring us through these hard times. Stay in faith, pray and ask for others to pray for you.
Trust that He will work it out for your good, you may not see it or know how He will work it out but keep stepping forward. He has amazing plans for you and He needs you to keep walking forward. Be brave.
When he brings you through things this is your testimony for others to help and encourage them.
Your testimony will be powerful because it shows that you are a strong woman of faith. It shows Gods strength in you.
Have faith.

This is what I want to be for this year. Bright and bubbly.

New season this is my scripture for 2017.
What is yours?

Hello to the first day of 2017 and welcome to the new year.
Last year I found embracing 2016 very hard. I really struggled to get excited about the new year. It might have been due to the fact that I was tired or exhausted, I felt like I crawled across the finish line, that I just made it over. I did make it but I wasn’t filled with joy, I wasn’t even excited about writing in my planner or writing on my reflection pages. I didn’t have the energy to dream.
Fast forward to today where I am excited to write in my journal for 2017. I feel like I have cartwheeled right into 2017. I am excited to dream, to plan to write and to work on my reflective pages for this year.
I don’t know what has happened?
But I kinda like it.
So, I have decided that January is all about Adventures.
Yes, let’s have an adventure.
The word adventure has been coming up a lot for me I think that 2017 is the Year of Adventures.
I few years ago, a good friend and mentor of mine challenged me to say yes to things. I think that I need to do this again and just see what happens.
So Yes, to trying new things.
Yes, to going on adventures.
Yes, to not doing the same things over and over.
Yes, to getting excited for this year.
What are you excited about this year?
Is there something that you are going to try this year?
What is your word, for the year?
Get excited!

Happy New Year, thank you so much for being on the journey with The Heart Project.

The last day of the year finds me reflecting on the year.
I don’t know about you but this year for me has been full, with good things happening and then the not so good.
I am hoping that I have learnt some lessons from this year that makes me stronger for next year.
I have learnt that………
I could probably add more to this list, but these are the ones that I wanted to share with you.
What have you learnt this year?
How has your year been?
I don’t ever want to stop learning.
Happy New Year.

Love these quotes that I have found about Christmas and yes it is such a lovely time.

This quote says it all for me.

Embrace December.

There is something magical about this time of year.

Merry Christmas

Daily Reading: Luke 2:8-14
Daily Devo:
I love reading about the birth of Christ, every year I am more and more thankful and blessed.
In Luke 2:8-14 we read about the shepherds out in the fields watching over their flock. Then an angel appears to them. Wow! The Angel says to them “Do not be afraid, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.”
When an Angel appears there always follows the words Do not be Afraid.
Do not be afraid.
Are you afraid?
Is there something that this Christmas you have been praying for?
Is there a family member that you haven’t spoken to in a while?
Is there something that has been on your heart, that you have been wanting to do?
Are you afraid of being who God designed you to be?
Do you need encouragement?
God sent an Angel to shepherds out in the field, just going about their work.
We later see in the verse that there was a heavenly multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying-
“Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
The heavenly choir worship.
I would have loved to hear them.
Be encouraged this year pray and then worship.
Put on your favourite worship music and sing to the Lord a new song.
Sing to Him.
Do not be afraid.
He is for you.
He is with you.

Lessons we can learn from Mary
Daily Reading -Luke 1:26-33
Daily Devo –
The story of Mary is one of hope and encouragement.
In the Book of Luke, we see that the Angel Gabriel says to Mary “Rejoice, highly favoured one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!”
The Angel said that Mary is highly favoured.
Can you imagine what Mary would be feeling at the moment do you think that she might be thinking “Me highly favoured one, I am not sure, is he speaking to me?” She might have looked around to see if anyone was behind her.
She was probably afraid because the Angel said in Luke 1:30 “Do not be afraid Mary, for you have found favour with God.
We are the daughters of the most high and he sees us and says about this about us that we are fearfully and wonderful made and he is pleased with us. God has an amazing plan and future for our lives, during this Christmas season speak these words over you.
We also know that Mary was obedient to God, she may have been afraid but she trusted God. Mary had faith. She stayed on the journey.
This Christmas time spend some time with God, get away from all the distraction and thank Him for what he is doing in your life.
Trust him lean in to what he is saying to you in this season. What is God trusting you with, what is he asking you to do.
Be blessed.
