Life and the Single Christian Girl…………

I have had such an amazing day.

Today was the last day of my Course it was such an encouraging and inspiring PD (Professional Development).

I met people who are all very passionate about helping students. The course was on grief and loss, the facilitators that delivered the course where just so passionate.

There were two other Chaplains there and also a person whose child I looked after when I managed the Crèche.
It was so lovely to see her and to learn how old her child was now.

They had so many creative ideas for the program and I really liked that. I was thinking that I have quite a bit of recourses already which is great.
Next I need to work on when I can implement the course. It will all work out.

The food was also amazing and so much of it. For lunch they had made a huge pot of minestrone soup and oh my goodness it was go nice. We could have had pastries for morning tea and of course they had coffee.

On the way home I had to stop at Officeworks to buy some supplies for the holiday program. I went there to buy large white cardboard, which I did and alsooooooooooo I happened to find a really nice notebook. I will probably use it for when I go to the conference in Sydney.

So now I am home and reflecting on the day.

One more day of school and then school holidays.
I am really looking forward to seeing the students tomorrow.

I will be working on some of the activities tonight, which I really do enjoy.
I find it really relaxing.
