Hi

I have had a really lovely time during the school holidays. I worked at a holiday program and really enjoyed the children and the art work that they made. Little masterpieces I like them to be able to develop their ideas of what to do with different types of items.

Today was lovely as I had my hair cut, coloured and straightened. I am so grateful for a good hairdresser.

The holidays let me have the time to reassess what I am doing for the next term. I definitely know that I want to sing and speak and to help women and young girls know that they are valued, worthy and loved.

On Saturday I had the best time with my music mentor who is Merelyn Carter, we had about an 8 hours non stop workshop and made some changes to Princess Heart.  I feel that Princess Heart is a journey so the new name is Princess Heart Journey. I will have new business cards which I am really excited about and am looking at having some journal made which will be called- My Princess Heart Journey.

 

 

So lots to do but I am very excited about the new journey and what will happen.

This is taken from my book that I am writing. The title is Princess Heart.

The following was from one of my journals-

23 July 2007

I decided on the 23rd July 2007 that I have a new project and my new project is to restore my health and to get my life back. It seems almost selfish to focus on yourself for the next few months?
It just didn’t seem right, but if it makes me feel a little uncomfortable then it is change and Growth.

Looking back now it was not a project for a few months it is the project for my whole life.

My Purpose

My Purpose is to inspire, encourage and bring hope for women and young girls, especially those struggling with an eating disorder. I am prepared to go where I’m needed to speak, to sing and to share my journey. I want to help women and your girls break free from this illness and to help them discover their value, their worth, their dreams and their desires and to give them the tools to fight back until they are free and living their lives.

I have had such a full three weeks that has just made me stop and rethink things.

A beautiful friend, also who I worked with of mine passed away suddenly. She was amazing, inspiring and when we met up there was always an adventure with lots of laughing.  It’s been hard for all who knew her and we will miss her.

She has left such a legacy and has helped so many people.

It made me rethink that everyone we meet we can learn from them. I want to make a difference and reach out and help others.

I have also realised we may not see the difference that we make in someone’s life, we can plant a seed.  They may remember what you have said or done for them later in their life.

I found this saying and I love it.

This week has been quiet sad with some news about a friend. The news that I received was sudden, unexpected and shocked me. It has impacted a whole community.

It made me think about how we meet people, why we meet people and how they impact us. People come into our lives that inspire us and I love being around them. They make me laugh, they challenge me to live a fuller life.

Everyone we met we learn something. We don’t know by looking at them what they have been through, what is their journey. It takes time to know someone and also for them to get to know you.

Be patient and reach out to someone today.

So I have decided that the book I am writing Princess Heart I will place some on my blog.

My book I have been writing for a while is nearly finished, I just need to design the pictures and the rest of the writing process.

I am very excited that I received a scholarship to finish my Certificate IV in community services, I feel really encouraged. This has inspired me to become proactive in starting the process of  Eating Disorder Support Group Perth. Just want to really promote this and let people know that there are people who are there to help you.  My passion is to be a voice for the voiceless.

I have a facebook page that is eatingdisordersupportgroupperth please take the time to see what it is all about.  I am also going to be starting Eating Disorder Support Group Perth in the next few months. I am currently in the process of developing policies and procedures for the support group.
