Let Your Light Shine

 

My thought for today is- Let your Light Shine.

 

 

 

If you look at the words it says YOUR light Shine.

 

YOUR LIGHT

 

Do you sometimes find yourself comparing yourself to others?

 

Comparing yourself to others robs you of your gifts and talents.

Comparing yourself robs you of what you love to do.

 

There is room for everyone to share how they want to shine.

 

Are you an artist, a singer, a writer, a dancer, a parent, an Aunty, a friend, a speaker there are many more examples of what people enjoy doing.

 

Or are you comparing your body with others.

Please let me say to you that you are unique.

One of the scriptures that I love is you are wonderfully and fearfully made.

 

Embrace that.  

 

Then let your light shine in whatever you are doing.

 

 

There will never be another you.

 

What you do is your signature in life.

 

What you do in your unique style.

 

I love seeing what other people are doing and learning from them.

 

I am speaking to myself as well. Sometimes I find myself not wanting to finish a project for fear of it not being good enough.

 

Then I think but to who’s standard am I trying to compare with.

 

Write that book, write that song, learn to play an instrument, go on that holiday, sing on stage and share your passion with others.

 

Shine Lovely Shine.
